On September 19th, 2015 my wife Jayme competed in the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Chicago, Illinois. The event featured top-flight sprint and Olympic-distance races for age-group athletes, paratriathletes, juniors, and an aquathlon to kick off the action. In all, more than 6,500 of the world’s best triathletes competed for world titles over four days of competition. It was a special honor for Jayme just to be able to compete in this event, let alone compete well.
